100 word challenge #3

DARK SHADOW 100 WC

They stared knowing that one person will need to fall. No one wanted to lose their life. They slowly walked as their dark shadows cast along the end of the bridge. It led to someone’s death. The group of girls and boys ducked low as wreckage flew over them. The truck flew over the top of them and they knew what would happen. They shut our eyes to make sure they couldn’t see.

The wreckage was too much. The end of the bridge collapsed. Screaming filled the air, and when they looked back to the group, a girl was missing.

The Firm

The Firm is written by John Grisham. A man goes for a job at one of the law and tax firms. He checked all the firms and went for job interviews but he was still not sure which firm to work for. Finally he chose a job straight away after a job interview and knew this was a great deal and a good job. Mitch and his wife would move to a town closer to the small firm and the firm will loan money to them so they could  buy a house.

Mitch (the main character) would get paid two hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year and the longer he worked for the company, the more money he would get and the more discounts. They offered him a job that he should have said no to. Soon people start dying at his work and he is being tracked but he doesn’t know it. What will happen?

I rate this book seven out of ten. I think this book is great and the middle of it is great. It is very exciting in most parts but not in others.

I think people should read this book if they  like mysteries and that are aged in between ten and fourteen years of age. If they like lawyers and fiction books they will love this book.

100 Word Challenge #37

Even now, ten years later, it was still piercing his skin. Sometimes his scar would reopen and send chills down his spine. He would get bad memories back into his scalp, and would never be able to get them out. It would reopen, but it was far too hot for it to happen. As he slept outdoors, he started to dream about how he got his scar and why.

The palm trees threw themselves side to side. Wind lashed at his face and the old black man stared at him with his dark coat on. The piercing pain seared at his chest and he fell helplessly.

100 WORD CHALLENGE

#36

As soon as the giant bird left, the survivors knew they were in trouble. The huge nest started to shake and they thought one of the birds were about to hatch. Staring down at them was the ugliest monster they had ever seen. It had red beady eyes like mail slots. It was white and a little bit brown. The bird’s egg was all brown and some egg was stuck to the thing in the middle. Straight away they thought it was a giant Hamster. Then they remembered about their job and why they were there… To clean up the drool!

100 Word Challenge

#35 Maclaren.

As the sun went down it started to get cold and the broken window still had the blinds pulled down which made the room pitch black. The floors creaked and on the shelf was something that really freaked me out.  It was an old carving that was thin, straight and had a mask on. Then suddenly a voice said, “come with me and we can make a friend.” Without a second thought, I ran away. The light outside blinded me until I could get used to it. I kept on running to the gateway and I felt light headed from the terrifying experience. I vomited.

100 Word Challenge Maclaren

100 word challenge
A loud buzzing noise filled the bathroom as a squeaky voice said “MAYDAY our rudder, wings and rocket boosters fell off, I’m going to crash land!” A deafening crash could be heard right throughout the house. “Now, we need to fix you so you can win the Tour de France championship.” Wailed the bees pit crew. They rushed up to him as he was twitching. “ I think he is dead… so I don’t think he can really win. Can he?” questioned the other person whilst he kicked the bee into the bath.

“Now he definitely can’t race anymore!”

Prompt #30 100 Word Challenge

#30 100 Word Challenge …And when I opened the cupboard…

Have you ever had the most annoying sister in the world? Well… I have the worst and the most annoying sister in the world.

It all happened about two or three days ago when she got up and came down to the kitchen. She started playing with her food and that was really unusual because she never does that and she has great table manners. She said she was one hundred and forty years old but she was really only five. Now I really thought something was going wrong in her brain. We went up stairs and when I opened the cupboard door she closed it.

She’s so annoying!

100 Word Challenge. Maclaren.

Mike sat up startled. His mother yelled, "Get up or you will be late for school!" Mike got up so quickly that he hit his head on his bunk bed. Rushing, quickly he got ready for school and he STILL had enough time to annoy his nosey, frustrating little brother. Mike decided to waste more time so he didn't have to go into school earlier. He distracted his mother and said he wanted to show her something. After he showed her they quickly hurried to the bus stop. They found out that the bus had already left. "But I thought I had enough time!" lied Mike.

100 Word Challenge the Night Zoo Keeper

100 word challenge

I’d like to be the Night Zookeeper so I’d be able to ride a unicorn and throw a giant snake at the Nilth monsters. I would go back in time with the time traveling elephant and stop the Nilth monsters from coming back and destroying the Night Zoo. I would keep care of all the flying hippos, dancing rhinoceroses, circus butterflies, lightning fast foxes, the magical worms, V8 birds, the tackling ants, the drawing frogs, the walking sharks, swimming cats and the meerkats in the trees. I will never let the Nilth monsters take over this very special word!

Bike Baron App- The Day I Jumped the Ramp. (Recount)

The Day I Jumped the Ramp.

The bike roared and my heart thumped. Ice broke underneath my wheel and Fred screeched his last screech and fell to his death. I cried because my fat cat died. I wasn’t looking where I was going. A moose and sheep flew at me but I didn’t have time  to swerve. I had to ride the moose. It kept on running and I ended up in a track full of TNT. I steered the moose around the track somehow. It was the best day ever!
