100 Word Challenge. Prompt #36. Ben

On a normal day for three constructions workers, they had a very odd job.  They were building an oversized chocolate egg for an oversized chicken who was laying an egg. The crane that was lifting the egg onto the landmark gave way and the egg came crashing down. What a mess! Luckily no one was hurt and the construction team shut down the site while the crane was getting fixed. The egg was getting cleaned up and removed and a new one shipped in so that work could be continued. The new egg arrived promptly and construction was underway again.

BREAKING NEWS

The flight BEE370 has fallen out of the sky and come crashing down. Three people have died and twenty-five have been injured. The pilots are yet to be questioned.

Police, paramedics, fire fighters, and air crash investigators have rushed the scene. 

We now turn over to Greg White who is interviewing one of the flight attendants. “Thank you”

“So Ray, what happened while you were on the plane?”

“Well… First the plane tilted sideways and then we started losing altitude”

“Thank you Ray. Well that’s all we have time for tonight. Watch the full interview on our free app. Good night”

                                     The Boy Who Was Late For Everything

Once upon a time there was a boy called Barry Moe Hamened, and he was late for everything.
On Christmas he missed breakfast, lunch and tea. One day, Barry and his parents were watching
the news and they were interviewing an astronomer and he said a huge asteroid was heading for
earth and everyone had to evacuate to the moon and the last rocket left tomorrow morning!
In the morning a taxi arived at Barry's house to pick them up. "But I thought I had enough time" exclaimed Barry.
Do you know what?
Barry missed the rocket.

The Night Zookeeper

I’d like to be a Night Zookeeper because I would have lots of adventures with time traveling elephants, the flying hippos and the parallel universe monkeys. However, there’s one condition... The Night Zoo. Lately the zoo has been having constant attacks from monsters from another land called Nilth. They travelled here with the parallel universe monkeys. They are armed with laser guns and shard shooters. So... it’s been hard to make up my mind about whether to go or not. In the end I decided to go and I’m definitely not regretting it at all.

Bike Baron- The Day I Jumped The Ramp

As I was slowly rolling through the gates, constantly revving the engine, I could hear and see the crowd roaring for me "Do it! Do it!"
I got on my bike and stared down the runway. I grabbed the handle bars as tight as I could and kicked it into gear, I was flying down the runway, I hit the bottom of the ramp and angled up, then before I knew it I was in mid-air. Those were the longest 30 seconds of my life.
I could see the start of the down ramp... I hit it and when I thought it was all over I hit something and went flying through the air!
I woke up in hospital and the first thing I was told was my cat was dead.
